After her graduation, she moved to NYC and worked as a waitress to make ends meet while studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Investing into formal education proved to be the right decision as she became a successful actress.Dickens played for example in The Gift, At Any Price, Sons of Anarchy, and most recently Fear The Walking Dead.
